You may be like some of us on the Because team, using the quiet July and August months in London to take advantage of more urban delights. Less queues at our favourite galleries, less traffic making our morning commutes feel breezier ... all because everyone else seems to have gone to the beach. Or not.

We feel like this new Smythson offering, working with British swimwear darling Hunza G, known for its crinkle fabric and just-so cuts, might be a "why not?" purchase given its dusky pink hue reminder of vistas elsewhere. 

So while it definitely isn't a summer holiday, for those of us still in the city on deadline or staycationing, it's a "just because!".
